Project Categories

Projects are categorized in the Admin tab, General | Categorization section. Select categories from the right hand box to move them into the project (left hand box). Select categories in the left hand box to remove them from the project.

There are four areas of categorisation, as discussed in the following sections.

Categories

General categories include platform, development framework, technology etc. Select one or more from the list to make it easier for users to find your project. We highly recommend using the existing categories where possible, but if necessary you can create your own categories using the "Other category name" box provided.

Licence

Selecting a project license is important! For information on licensing see ProjectsAdminChooseLicense.

Natural Language

This category is used to define the written/natural language used for your project's UI and documentation. By default projects are assumed to be "English".

Development Status

The develpment status is one of the values shown below. You will need to revisit this categorisation during the lifetime of your project.
