QML UI Templates library provides commonly used UI-components for generic use with QML, but is no longer in active development and has been largely superseded by Qt Quick Components. This library were not meant to replace the official Qt Quick components -project but to provide larger templates for developers to take a look and utilize in their own projects.

These templates have been superseded by the Qt Quick Components. The templates may still be useful as they include a few components that are not available in the Qt Quick Components - for example Accordion List (used in the RSS reader) and CoverFlow (used in the Media Browser). In addition, the source code is an excellent example of how to create your own custom components and templates.
The UI Templates Library contains reusable UI elements and templates used in the example applications RSSReader Example and Restaurant Application Example.
They are aimed to be the basic building blocks of QML applications focusing on the UI. They are not elementary UI components, like buttons or switches, but rather more comprehensive templates like four views with tab navigation bar or a list view + details view integrated.
The style and graphics used in these elements are based on a uniform style, which can be re-used in your own applications as you wish. The elements can also be easily customised with different colors, styles, and graphics according to your requirements.
